Gullfoss, Iceland

This is Gullfoss which is part of the Golden Circle in Iceland.  This waterfall is totally mesmerizing.  It’s basically a river pouring into this enormous gash in the earth.  Absolutely amazing.

Driving Iceland

Iceland is nothing short of spectacular.  I only had a week on this visit but I was fortunate to cover some ground thanks to my campervan.  I saw a lot of amazing scenery along the way which compelled me to document some of the highway as I drove.  Every few kilometers (yes the metric system) the landscape would completely change, or the weather, or both.   Here’s a look at what I saw through the windshield….

The Tetons from Triangle X Ranch

One of my favorite views of the Tetons.  I photograph here often.  This is a capture from 2011 that I decided to revisit and polish up.  The light was perfect for a B&W image.

Lifestyle for Homestead Magazine

This year’s addition of Homestead Magazine has a great new Personal Style feature. I had the honor to collaborate with them to create the imagery for the story. Initially we were planning a Fall theme and we were all set to go and then the wonderully unpredictable Wyoming weather did its thing.  At shoot time a snow storm rolled in and within a few minutes it was officially Winter!  But instead of freaking out we rolled with it and it actually worked out wonderfully.  My favorite image is the guys with their cocktails out on the deck.  This really hit the mark for lifestyle in Jackson, and I love that we still had some color in the Aspens behind them.  All in all a great shoot.  Had a blast on this one!  Here is the layout from the mag and a link to the story on the website:  http://homesteadmag.com/personal-style
