Sea Arch at Dyrholaey

Ice Diamonds from Jökulsárlón Iceland

Totally bizarre landscape.  Icebergs from the Vatnajökull (the glacier) break off and flow into Jökulsárlón (the lagoon) and then flow out to the ocean where they are bashed by the waves and deposited onto the beach, which is black volcanic sand.  I had a spectacular morning here and was completely alone.  This is one of the most...

Gullfoss, Iceland
