Category Archives: 4×5 Getting to work on a new personal project photographing artists and creatives here in Jackson. Planning to shoot it all on 4×5 B&W film but who knows…. the color polaroids look pretty sweet. I caught up with local thespian/musician/all around talent Mr Jeff Bratz today. Super fun shoot! Cant wait to see the film…..  It might be a total cliche to go out to make these photographs but who cares. I spent some really wonderful mornings this past fall with my 4×5 and a cup of coffee up in the park chasing light. Finally getting around to scanning film now. I am going to do more of this...  While I was home in NC for the Holidays we got a pretty amazing winter storm. If only it had come a day earlier we would have had a white Christmas! Now these days seeing snow is not quite the novelty it was growing up in Eastern NC. We are basically buried in it here...  The last few months have been totally crazy. I was in China for 3 weeks to shoot more for Far Chang. Got home and then had to travel straight to NC to be with my family for the Holidays. Its great to be on the road but its also really great to be home and...  This is Butch, another one of the great characters we met at Speedweek at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. This guy is a fixture at the starting line. Before I made this picture he shared with us a wonderful scrapbook of photos and news clippings from his years of Land Speed Racing on the...  Nothing like 4×5 film to give you some serious post production. Just got my film back from Bonneville Speedweek. Now the real fun begins…. The negs look great which is exciting.
