From China with Love

The last few months have been totally crazy.  I was in China for 3 weeks to shoot more for Far Chang.  Got home and then had to travel straight to NC to be with my family for the Holidays.  Its great to be on the road but its also really great to be home and plugged in.  At the moment I dont have any big plans other than focus on my biz and personal projects (local ones).  I am finally getting around to scanning the film from the 2nd factory visit.  I have a lot less to go through this time b/c I shot less.  I was more focused on particular images this time.  I felt I needed a few more aspects of the factory life that I didnt see the first trip.  I think it was a success but I guess Ill leave that to my audience.  I am really glad I went back and I am also really glad I am done, at least with the shooting/travel part of it.  I have several months to prep the work before it will hang in the Center for the Arts here in Jackson.  Really excited that I have a show for this work.  It will be great for people to see the actual prints.  Here is the first scan I have made.  I was really struck by this box which was to ship here to a big box store and the fact that the flowers were this color.  I like to think this photo is fairly symbolic of my project and the entire idea of trade with China.
